Be enchanted …go on ... treat yourself and stay at the Te Horo Railway Station, which has converted so perfectly into a self-contained guest cottage.

Original signs, train seats, NZR memorabilia, guard's hat and uniform all combine with the character of this lovely heritage building to recreate a nostalgic period of NZ rail history. The Station B&B has been tastefully furnished and decorated to provide charm and ambience as well as all the comforts of home.

The Station B&B is now situated in the grounds of our working pottery,  surrounded by established gardens and mature native trees.  It has a private garden and a view of the fields, hills and the Tararua ranges.

The Station B&B overlooks our pottery studio, historic domed kilns and an outdoor display of John’s salt glazed pots. Guests are welcome in the studio.

The Station B&B is located on SH1, just 60 km north of Wellington City.

Rates: NZ$150.00 double per night; NZ$120.00 single. Each booking has exclusive use of The Station B&B.
